Truly Ministries, Inc. is available to provide academic assistance to those students who scored in the minimum range and below by providing afterschool tutorial in the areas of English, Language and Math (ELA), to help improve the child’s academic scores. The afterschool tutorial program vertically aligns its’ educational goals and objectives with the Vicksburg Public School District’s educational curriculum, which helps prepare them for State Testing. It is believed that this alignment will assist the tutorial facilitators in preparing supplementary materials and thus will enhance the in-classroom learning skills of the students. The teachers will work in an environment which is conducive for learning and a maximum teacher to student ratio per class will be 1:10. The program is able to service a maximum of 40 students per school. The primary goal of the after school program is to enhance their skills which will enable them to maximize their personal potential throughout their elementary school years and also help prepare them for Middle School. The afterschool program is not available on days of early dismissal or when school is not in session. What are the benefits?
